The Project Manager's Life 35

One tends to think that the most important aspect of a project manager’s job is the tracking, charting, and reporting of progress. If this is the case, then the project manager’s responsibilities are quite passive.

On the contrary, his is an active job and one of his most important tasks is thinking. Every day the project manager is faced with challenges that require deliberation and care before taking action. Rahat Indori has taken a verbal snapshot that encapsulates this for us:

I am just immersed in this thought.
How might I cross this river?
Rahat Indori

Every project is a river of challenges.
